St. Croix guided my family through my father’s death and recently my mom’s. As background, I expect medical service providers to offer top notch medical services and excellent customer service skills. As we asked around, St. Croix was recommended to us by a family friend. I’m glad to report that we could not have asked for better partners to help us along this devastating journey. Jake became a trusted member of both parent’s care teams, and they looked forward to his visits. He answered their questions with honesty and tact. Other services we received include occupational therapy, music therapy, assistance from a social worker, and needed supplies like a hospital bed. I plan to utilize their follow up services for the grieving family. St. Croix will be one of the good memories I keep from this difficult time.

If we could give them 10 stars we would! I cannot say enough about the exceptional care my loved one and our family received from the Lombard Hospice team. From the very first day, every staff member went above and beyond to provide not only medical expertise but also genuine compassion and comfort.

The nurses were attentive, skilled, and patient, always taking the time to explain each step of care and making sure our questions were answered. The aides showed such kindness and respect, treating my loved one with dignity at every moment. The social worker and chaplain were also invaluable, offering emotional and spiritual support that truly eased this difficult journey.

What stood out most was how the entire team worked seamlessly together, always communicating and ensuring our family felt supported. They treated us not just as patients, but as people they deeply cared about.

The Lombard hospice staff namely Shian, Melissa, Marci, Laura, Laurie, and Chaplin Tim to name a few, demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, warmth, and compassion, and we will always be grateful for the comfort and peace they brought during such a challenging time. They are truly a gift to families in need of hospice care.
