St. Croix Hospice provided truly exceptional care for our mom/grandmother during one of the most emotional times in our lives. From the very beginning, their entire care team treated her—and all of us—with such compassion, dignity, and respect.

Every nurse, aide, and staff member went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and cared for. It was clear that this wasn’t just a job to them—they genuinely cared about her as a person, honoring her life, her personality, and her wishes. That meant everything to our family.

We want to give a special shout-out to Jake and Kristen, who made such a meaningful impact on our experience. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine compassion will never be forgotten. They brought comfort not only to our mom/grandmother, but to our entire family. Through this process, they became honorary members of the family and referred to her as “mama”.

The team also supported us in ways we didn’t even realize we needed—offering guidance, reassurance, and steady support every step of the way. Their presence brought a sense of peace and comfort that is hard to put into words.

We are forever grateful for the love and care they showed our mom/grandmother. St. Croix Hospice made an incredibly difficult time more bearable, and we will never forget the difference they made.

Words cannot express how grateful my family and I were that we were fortunate to have Jake and Renee visiting my Dad during the last stage of his life. Not only did Dad but Mom as well benefit from seeing Jake and Renee. They trusted them and loved them like family. We all did. St. Croix guided my family through my father’s death and recently my mom’s. As background, I expect medical service providers to offer top notch medical services and excellent customer service skills. As we asked around, St. Croix was recommended to us by a family friend. I’m glad to report that we could not have asked for better partners to help us along this devastating journey. Jake became a trusted member of both parent’s care teams, and they looked forward to his visits. He answered their questions with honesty and tact. Other services we received include occupational therapy, music therapy, assistance from a social worker, and needed supplies like a hospital bed. I plan to utilize their follow up services for the grieving family. St. Croix will be one of the good memories I keep from this difficult time.
