St Croix Hospice took care of my mother until she passed last month. We could not have asked for better care. They were there taking care of her every need….nursing, massages, music, prayers, setting up respite, supplies, and medications. They were all superior to any other medical staff we encountered. My mom had st croix home hospice before she passed. Mom had dementia and she could be salty at times. She had the same nurse and aide for every visit. The nurse brought her favorite food when she was losing weight. The aide was able to coax mom into the shower when I couldn't. Music and massage therapy made her face light up. My mother was not a kindly old lady. She was a sassy pistol of a woman and she truly loved the ladies she met-as well as clergy. Many thanks to them for helping our family and for keeping a respectful distance when we asked for space. I feel like we had the best possible experience. I didn't use anyone's name, because I didn't ask permission before I posted. I still remember all 5 people that helped take care of her as well as the supervisor because they all made such a good impression =)
