Metal Detector Skills Bring Back Precious Ring

Judith and Dewey Sherman were married 60 years in 2020 when Dewey lost his wedding ring in their yard. Earlier this year they shared that story with St. Croix Hospice Chaplain Paul Humphreys, a member of Judith’s care team. An experienced metal detectorist, Paul found the ring that day for Judith to surprise Dewey. A beautiful moment for them both. And when Judith passed away peacefully earlier this month Dewey was at her side. Like Dewey’s ring, quality time with our loved ones is precious.
