An Out of This World 91st Birthday Present

Norman, an Air Force veteran and former NASA contractor, said if he could go anywhere, he’d choose the Strategic Command and Aerospace Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. So, during his 91st birthday week, St. Croix Hospice team members Emily and Valarie made it happen.

Norman was able to absorb all of the sights at the museum, conjuring memories of his past flights on C-119 airplanes, as well as his work on NASA’s first human spaceflight and stage two of the Apollo.
While at the museum, Norman said, “I could spend all day here.”
